At least seven Houthi militants and their allies were killed and others injured during fierce clashes in Taiz city, said Yemeni sources on Saturday. 
The clashes took place in western Taiz, where Houthi militants pounded some districts, leaving many civilians injured, Alhurra channel quoted the sources as saying.
The sources added that preparations for al Hudaydah battle are underway.
