Arab coalition warplanes at dawn Tuesday shelled the positions of Houthi militants and loyalists to former president Ali Abdallah Saleh in Sanaa.
Eyewitnesses said the planes targeted a camp in Al Nahdeen Mountain, the surroundings of the presidential premises in southern the capital, the military engineering faculty and Sa'awan district in northern the capital.
Strong explosions were heard in the capital as the planes were seen hovering over the skies before and after the shelling.
On Monday, the coalition warplanes shelled areas in northeastern the capital near Ma'rib governorate and the republican guard camp in northwest the capital.
