Forty-five ships transited the Suez Canal on Thursday, with a total cargo of three million tons.
The south-bound convoy included 19 vessels carrying around 1.3 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 26 ships carrying about 1.7 million tons, according to statistics of the Suez Canal Authority.
