Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed el Tayeb visited on Wednesday the Orthodox Cathedral in Abbassiya to greet Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese and Christians on Easter.

Tayeb was accompanied by Azhar Undersecretary Abbas Shoman, Former Religious Endowments Minister Hamdi Zakzouk, Egypt's Mufti Dr Shawki Allam as well as a host of al Azhar officials.
