Commander of operations in Tal Afar Abdul Amir Rasheed Yar Allah announced the liberation of Al Kifah neighborhood in Tal Afar in northwestern Mosul, the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) reported Wednesday. 

The Iraqi federal police and mobilization forces raised the Iraqi flag on the neighborhood, Yar Allah said in a statement to Iraqi war media cell. 
Commander in Chief of the Iraqi armed forces Haider Al Abadi announced Sunday the launch of operations to liberate Tal Afar in western Mosul from Daesh terrorist group.
