Chairman of Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Abdel Aziz Sief el Din underscored on Monday the importance of cooperation with Nigeria in many manufacturing spheres.
Cooperation with the western African country is a model for the success of efforts aimed at fostering Egypt's ties with African countries, Sief el Din said while receiving a visiting high-level Nigerian delegation.
The visit of the delegation underlines the depth of Egyptian-African relations, Sief el Din said, adding that all the products of the AOI are available for the sisterly African countries.
A senior commander of the Nigerian delegate said that their visit to the AOI aims at getting first hand information about the latest industrial and manufacturing lines.
The delegation members paid a visit to the AOI-affiliate Kader Factory for developed industries where they were briefed on the unique products of the factory, namely Fahd armored vehicle.
The tour of the delegation also included a visit to the executive apparatus of the AOI where they had talks with Sief el Din on aspects of cooperation and prospects of exchanging the know-how.
Meanwhile, the delegation hailed the positive role of the AOI in the African continent and expressed hope to open new vistas of cooperation with it.
