Matrouh police have foiled an attempt by 91 persons to sneak into Libya via desert routes in Salloum.

They include 32 persons from Minya, 10 from Sohag, four from Beheira , four from Dakahlia, three from Kafr el Sheikh, three from Assuit, three from Fayyoum, two from Qalubiya and four from Qena, Cairo, Giza and Beni Suef while 20 others from Sudan and six from Yemen.

All legal measures were taken against them and they were referred to prosecution for investigation.
