Prime Minister Bakri Hassan Saleh

The Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Zhang Gaoli, accompanied by a high-level delegation, arrived in Sudan on Friday on a two-day official visit.
Sudanese Prime Minister Bakri Hassan Saleh and a number of ministers and senior officials received the Chinese delegation at the Khartoum International Airport.
Sudanese Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour described the deleagtion's visit as "historic", highlighting its political, economic and cultural importance in light of the strategic partnership agreement signed by the presidents of Sudan and China in 2015 in Beijing.
Ghandour said that the two sides will hold official talks at the presidential palace to discuss a number of issues and sign agreements in the various fields.
During his visit, Zhang is scheduled to meet Sudanese President Omar al Bashir to deliver a message from his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.
