Minister of Higher Education Khaled Abdel Ghaffar on Wednesday had talks with a delegation of an international group of university activities in the United Kingdom.
The talks took up opening branches for British universities in the New Administrative Capital.
The move comes in line with directives by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to turn the new city into a center fore research and education in the Middle East and Africa, according to statement issued by the ministry.
Abdel Ghaffar asserted at the meeting that Egypt is keen on supporting cultural relations with Britain through enhancing partnership between educational and scientific institutions in both countries.
