Egypt's churches began on Sunday celebrating the  before the advent of the Easter. 

During the week, Egypt's churches will hold consecutive masses in which a number of bishops, priests and Copts will attend.

Also, Egyptian Copts are preparing for the Easter Mass, slated for Saturday at all churches nationwide. 

Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese will lead the Easter Mass.
