Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar attended on Tuesday celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of establishing the African Center for Crime Prevention Researches and Studies.
The African center is one of the departments affiliated to the Police Research Center.
Assistant Interior Minister Amr el Asar attended the celebration along with Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mahmoud Hegazy, Interior Ministry leaderships and Armed Forces top brass.
Asar said Abdel Ghaffar has given orders for maintaining cooperation with African trainees within the framework of constructive cooperation between Egyptian and African security agencies.
The African center - which was set up in 1986 - organized training sessions for 6,924 security cadres from 49 African states in the fields of combating terror, organized crime and drug trafficking as well as human rights and women rights.
