Egypt's Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar held a meeting Tuesday with Tunisian counterpart Hedi Majdoub to discuss the agenda of the Arab Interior Ministers Council’s meeting, to kick off in Tunis on Wednesday.
The two ministers talked cooperation between Egypt and Tunisia and the latest developments in a number of Arab countries.
Majdoub lauded progress achieved by Egyptian police in maintaining security and fighting against terrorism.
Abdel Ghaffar called for exerting more efforts and maintaining closer coordination among the Arab states to help render terrorism-combat efforts a success.
