Israeli occupation forces early Wednesday detained 16 Palestinians in various West Bank cities, according to a Palestinian source.

A statement by the Palestinian Prisoners Society said that Israeli army stormed the cities of Hebron, Jenin, Ramallah, Qalqilya and Tulkarem and arrested the 16 citizens under the pretext they are wanted by the occupations authorities.

Also today, Israeli soldiers raided a number of Palestinian homes and seized vehicles in Barta'a town in the West Bank city of Jenin.

The Israeli army launches arrest campaigns on a daily basis against dozens of Palestinians in various cities and villages of the West Bank under unjustified various pretexts.
