Soldiers fired rubber-coated steel rounds at the protesters.

Israeli occupation forces on Friday injured five Palestinians by rubber-coated steel rounds as the forces attacked Palestinian protesters who were demonstrating outside the village of Ras Karkar, near Ramallah in the West Bank, against the imminent confiscation of lands by the occupation authorities.

Soldiers fired rubber-coated steel rounds at the protesters, injuring five of them.

The protesters were calling for the revocation of Israeli plans to confiscate large tracts of land belonging to Palestinians from the village and from nearby villages for settlement expansion purposes.
