The Jordanian government has stressed the importance of the steps taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to investigate the case of journalist Jamal Khashoggi

An official statement issued Saturday said that the measures taken by Saudi Arabia were necessary for clarifying the full truth about the circumstances of this issue and the achievement of a speedy justice and accountability of those involved.

The Jordanian government expressed its sincere condolences to the family of Khashoggi, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
