Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Yasser Atef said on Wednesday that the July 23 revolution of 1952 was a milestone in the history of the Egyptian republic and both Arab and African states. 
The envoy made the remarks during a ceremony marking the 65th anniversary at the embassy in Kuwait. 
It was attended by a group of ministers and ambassadors from Arab and foreign countries. 
Also, public figures and members of the diplomatic missions in Kuwait took part in the event.
