President of Iraq's United for Reform Coalition Osama al Nujaifi met on Sunday with Kirkuk Governor Najmaldin Karim.
They discussed the latest developments of the anti-Daesh war and the situation in Kirkuk.
Nujaifi called for an investigation into violations committed in Kirkuk villages, which have been liberated from Daesh militants recently.
Najmaldin promised to stand up to violations and protect citizens in such villages.
He also slammed the assassination of a judge and three of his bodyguards in a terrorist attack in Kirkuk governorate early in the day.
Najmaldin ordered the bodies concerned to reveal reasons behind the attack and bring the perpetrators to justice as soon as possible.
Daesh is a militant group predominantly active in Syria and Iraq, having taken over large territories in both countries. Militants in Libya, Egypt and Nigeria, among other countries, have pledged allegiance to the group.
