Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah met on Sunday with European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini at Bayan Palace.
During the meeting, the pair discussed the latest developments in the regional and international arenas, KUNA reported.
For his part, the Kuwaiti foreign minister praised the distinguished ties between the EU and Kuwait, along with relations between the European bloc and the Gulf Cooperation Council in various fields.
Mogherini began a visit to Kuwait on Sunday to express EU support of mediation efforts exerted by Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah to resolve the Gulf dispute.
