Lebanon's authorities arrest 4 persons over Daesh links

Directorate General of Lebanese Internal Security Forces arrested on Monday two elements affiliated to Daesh terrorist group. 
The first defendant admitted that a smuggling network belongs to Daesh helped him to leave Lebanon illegally to join Daesh fighters in Syria but some barriers led him to return back to Lebanon and wait for new instructions.
While the second one confessed that he, along with some others were waiting funds transfer from one of Daesh leaders in Europe to pay them the costs of traveling to join Daesh terrorist group. 
Investigations revealed members of the logistic network belonging to Daesh and informed the Lebanese forces which arrested two of its members.
Both defendants admitted their links to Daesh coordinators in Syria as well as their activities to recruit and smuggle new elements to the terrorist group in Syria to be trained to join the armed group.
Arrested elements were referred to the military judiciary to stand trial and the Lebanese forces are currently on alert to nap other involved partners.
