Morocco is one of the oldest friends of the United States and will forever remain one of its best friends, said Randy Neugebauer, member of the Association of Former Members of Congress, which is on a working visit to Morocco
Relations between Morocco and the United States testify to the strong ties of friendship between the two countries, Neugebauer told reporters Monday in Rabat following talks with Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Mounia Boucetta.
"We have learned a great deal about Morocco and the challenges it faces," he said, adding that the two countries are called upon to further strengthen their cooperation to address the challenges they face.
This meeting was also an opportunity to discuss the US expertise in the legislative field, which could only be beneficial for the Moroccan experience, he said.
Founded in 1970, the Association of Former Members of Congress utilizes more than 600 former Members to provide public service programs and initiatives at home and abroad.
