The cabinet held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss a number of political, economic, social and security files.
A host of draft laws and decisions related development and economic stability were mulled during the meeting which was chaired by Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.
The cabinet also probed the implementation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to work on reducing the impact of inflation through a package of measures including effective control by concerned bodies and the offer of more commodities.
The directives assert the necessity of taking into consideration low-income and needy people.
