Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese has stressed the importance of love even for people "who have different views than ours". 

Speaking in a sermon during his visit to Kuwait, the pope said love is reflected through actions and work, rather than words.

Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Yasser Atef said pope Tawadros' visit to Kuwait is "historic".

Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al Jaber al Sabah had met with the pope Sunday.

Pope Tawadros hailed as long relations between Egypt and Kuwait, both at the popular and official levels.
