Saudi Arabia denied asking for any mediation with Iran.
These are groundless press reports, Al Akhbar channel reported Wednesday quoting a Saudi source as saying.
He reiterated the kingdom's rejection of any rapprochement with the Iranian regime which is fomenting terrorism and extremism and meddling with other countries' internal affairs.
