Cairo - Egypt Today
Saudi Arabia denied on Wednesday seeking any mediation with Iran, dismissing as groundless press reports published in this regard.
A reliable Saudi source reiterated the kingdom's rejection of any rapprochement with the Iranian regime which is fomenting terrorism and extremism and meddling with other countries' internal affairs.
The source said Saudi Arabia believes that the current Iranian regime is non-negotiable because of its disrespect of diplomatic rules and norms and international principles and its distortion of facts.
The source urged world states to deter the Iranian government, dissuade it from its hostile acts and force it to abide by international law, UN resolutions and diplomatic norms.
