Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said on Saturday that forces from all Iraqi security services would take part in an offensive to drive out Daesh from the town of Tal Afar, some 70 km west of Mosul.
Addressing a conference of the Iraqi youth parliament, the Premier said Baghdad has a plan to push terrorist Daesh group of the Iraqi lands very soon.
Late on Friday, the Defense Ministry said it began preparations to launch an offensive to reclaim Tal Afar, the largest remaining Daesh stronghold in Nineveh.
