Cairo - Egypt Today
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said Wednesday that encroachments on state-owned lands constitute a big challenge that won't be tolerated.
Speaking at the Galaa Theater, where he is reviewing the outcome of his directives to remove the encroachments, Sisi praised efforts exerted by Ibrahim Mahlab, the president's assistant for national projects and former prime minister.
He touched upon some circumstances that would make it difficult to make a big achievement this year.
The Armed Forces and police have been working for five months now to restore control over state-owned lands, the president said.
