Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Malla sent two cables of congratulations to India’s Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and Rajya Sabha (Council of States) Chairman Moahammed Hamid Ansari on India’s Independence Day. He wished them abundant health and happiness and more progress and prosperity to the Indian people.

Al Malla sent a similar cable to Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Alok Kumar Sinha.
