The Civil Service Bureau (CSB) has adopted a number of new organisational standards according to latest management theories and practices relating to administrative and organizational structures.
The CSB step came after reviewing leading modern experiments that are an important part and a major source for development of work in the CSB.
It also considered accurate and fair methods in making comparisons and evaluating organizations in the civil service as tools within a standardized and approved framework that helps employees working in this area to perform their tasks easily.
Director General for Organisation & Job Budgeting, Jamal Abdulaziz Al-Alawi said: "The adoption of modern organisational standards aims to develop the work system in the public sector, and to promote the consolidation and application of global best practices in the area of governance and organization management."
"It also aims at developing the functioning of the organisational structure as an effective tool of making institutional decisions, and streamlining the processes and procedures, in addition to improving the quality of services provided to customers in order to raise the efficiency and effectiveness of human resources in the civil service and the optimal utilization of institutional resources," he added
