Saad Ahmed al-Muhannadi, the new chief executive officer of Qatar Railways Company (QRail), has stated that operations will start next year at the Qatar railways project, an Arabic daily reports. He said  the first tender for the project would be announced during the first quarter of 2012. He also indicated that investments in the project would be around QR133bn.
