Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid bin Daghr met on Wednesday with Director of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) Mohamed Saeed Al Kotbi.
During the meeting, held in Aden, Daghr and Al Kotbi discussed projects that are being carried out by the ERC in Aden and some liberated governorates.
Also, the Yemeni premier hailed the UAE’s supportive stances towards the Yemeni legitimate government and praised the key role played by the UAE within the Saudi-led coalition.
Furthermore, Daghr thanked the UAE leadership for supporting the Yemeni people.
For his part, Al Kotbi posted Daghr on the projects established recently by the ERC, including projects to reconstruct houses and schools affected by acts of sabotage by the Houthis and pro-Saleh forces.
The ERC director briefed Al Kotbi on several projects that are being implemented in some sectors such as health, roads and sewage treatment.
About 17 housing units were built by the ERC in Mocha city and a host of health centers and hospitals in the governorates of Aden, Lahij, Dhale and Taiz were renovated, Al Kotbi noted.
