Beirut - Suhaila Kayali
Lebanese actor Nadine Najim has said she\'s overjoyed to star in her new film \"Cash Flow\" with Lebanese actor Carlos Azar. \"The role is a kind of social satire, without violence and vulgarity...such challenges are proof of my success,\" beamed the star. Q. First, tell us about the film \"Cash Flow\"? A. The film tells the story of a young man (Mazen Sharfan) which is played by Carlos Azar. He is an employee at a company earning $900 a month. Mazen rescues the life of a very rich man from a car accident. The man then grants him a bank card enabling him to withdraw a thousand dollars daily. However he falls in love with a young girl (played by me), but he did not disclose his love for her only when he got the card. Q. Are you now working on an Egyptian film? A. Yes, and I am very happy with acting in \"Room 6\" which revolves around Ghada, an Egyptian businessman\'s daughter, who falls for a young man abroad and then works with her father. The young man eventually uncovers the corruption of the country\'s former regime. This role is one of the most important experiences in my life, after the series \"Matloob Rejal\". Q. Do you believe that \"Men Wanted\" contributed to your fame in Arab countries, especially in the Gulf? A. Sure, because the MBC channel is highly watched in the Arab world which increased my fame outside Lebanese borders. Q. Will you work in a Gulf production? A. It depends on the role. I cannot refuse something I know nothing about. Q. How did you find Joumana Mourad in this film? What is your opinion about her? A. Of course Joumana is a talented and famous actor and her work in \"Men Wanted\" was excellent. Q. Who attracted your attention from all the actresses in the film? A. All the actresses were talented, and the Syrians in particular...each actress has something different, so I can not prefer one over another. Q. Which of your roles do you prefer most? A. I like all my work in general. I do not play a role I am not convinced of. I consider my self successful in all the roles I\'ve played. Q. You said in an interview earlier: \"I will not withdraw from the artistic community and I am happy to be fought by actresses. I am committed to my limited relations with everybody.\" When will you find yourself obliged to commitment? And from who you\'ve fought? A. I will not mention names. It is natural for any person to be challenged when they succeed, others try to fight them. I will remain committed to my relations with the entertainment world...though if someone crosses a line, I will sue them! Q. Is it true that you\'re living a love story now? A. No, this is not true. Q. Do you agree to marry a married man like your role in \"Men Wanted\"? A. (laughs) No, certainly not. Are there no single men left?!
