Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab said that the government adopted a clear strategy to support the national economy, attract investments and resolve the problems of investors.
During a celebration organized Monday by Al-Ahram newspaper to mark the 140th anniversary of its establishment, Mahlab said the planned economic conference in Sharm Sheikh will be a positive gesture that Egypt is on the path to investment.
The planned "Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC)", will kick off in Sharm Sheikh on March 13 and will run to March 15.
The government is keen on taking all necessary procedures to ensure the success of the conference and provide a positive message to reassure investors, Mahlab said.
Mahlab underlined the importance of the private sector's role in supporting development and raising economic growth rates.
The government adopted a clear plan to deal with the issue of population growth and to promote vocational education, Mahlab said.
Vocational technical education is a lifeline for the society and the economy, he said.
