Social Insurance Minister Ghada Wali stressed on Monday that pensions were paid on time via the different General Authority for Social Security and Pension outlets without any delay despite strike reports.

As of 9:00 a.m. today, around 147,198 citizens got their pensions via the social insurance offices, ATM services and post offices, she told MENA.

Some social media reports spoke about a planned strike by some employees of the General Authority for Social Security and Pension in protest against some arbitrary measures by the minister.
