Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Wali denied reports circulated on social media that the ministry is intending to cash unemployment benefit for jobless youth.
In statements to MENA on Sunday, Wali said the ministry is mainly working to aid poor families, women earning their living, disabled people and other needy categories.
She also made it clear that the ministry is encouraging the non-governmental societies to upgrade the abilities of youths to comply with the needs of labor market.
She highlighted the need for encouraging the ideas of free work among youths and not to cash them financial aid to depend on it.
The social aid is cashes to some cases in accordance with the social insurance law and according to specific conditions and for certain terms, the minister added.
