Cairo - MENA
Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil said Thursday that the Iraqi government is holding talks with Cairo to increase imports of Egypt-made food products.
The ministry is coordinating with the Egyptian factories and companies to meet the Iraqi demands, the minister said.
A number of top Iraqi officials, including the foreign and trade ministers, would visit Cairo in February, Qabil said.
During the planned visit, they will discuss means to boost economic cooperation and increase the trade volume between the two Arab states, the minister added.
