The UK is interested in supporting Egypt's economy and maintaining its stability and security for its people's welfare, British Ambassador to Egypt John Casson said on Saturday.
Casson's remarks came amid his participation in Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC), held in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh.
He said that British Petroleum announced 12 billion dollars worth of new investments in Egypt.
