Supply Minister Khaled Hanafy decided on Thursday to reduce prices of vegetables and fruits by 20% at all cooperatives, wholesale companies and outlets of the Food Industries Holding Company (FIHC).

The aim behind the decision is to provide all commodities to citizens at cheap price, the minister added.

The new prices suit low-income bracket, he asserted.
