Wheat reserves for the production of subsidized bread will be sufficient until the end of May, Supply Minister Khaled Hanafy has said.
The General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) had signed a contract to buy 240,000 tons of French and Romanian wheat under an international tender, the minister said.
Wheat will be delivered to Egypt as of March 15, Hanafi said, expecting the process to last for 10 days.
