Ramallah - Arab Today
Palestinian Fatah movement asserted on Friday that it would never cease efforts that are being exerted to end the Israeli occupation and establish an independent Palestinian State within the borders of June 4, 1967 with Al Quds as its capital.
Spokesperson for Fatah Osama Qawasmi made the remarks on Friday.
According to Qawasmi, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has clearly asserted commitment to the Palestine National Council's resolutions issued in Algiers, November 15, 1988.
Scores of the Palestinian people sacrificed their lives for their homeland with Al Quds as its capital and not for a port or few facilities, the spokesman added.
Lashing out at Hamas, the spokesman called for adopting an inclusive stance that makes the interest of the country a top priority for all parties.
More than half a million Israelis live in over 230 illegal settlements built since the 1967 Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories of the West Bank and East al Quds (Jerusalem).
