Hebron - Arab Today
Israeli forces on Monday detained at least eight Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem, and stole two vehicles belonging to Palestinian locals in Hebron district, according to security sources.
In Hebron area, Israeli army broke into the town of Saeer, to the northeast of Hebron, and detained Mohammad Tafesh, 21, and stole his vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone, after they ransacked his home.
Meanwhile, the army stormed the nearby town of Deir Samet, where they detained Shadi al-Hroub, a local Palestinian.
Army also broke into the town of ash-Shuyukh, nearby, and detained Mohammad Abdurrahim Halaiqa and stole his vehicle, after raiding his home.
Another Palestinian, identified as Awni Ghnemat, was detained by Israeli troops who stormed the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron.
Two other Palestinians were also detained in Hebron district. They were identified as Mumen al-Jabari and Omar Skafi, 25.
In Nablus district, in northern West Bank, Israeli forces detained Basel Marshoud, a a local Palestinian from Balata refugee camp.
Meanwhile, Israeli authorities at Allenby border crossing, on the West Bank-Jordan border, detained 25-year-old Hassan Safadi, from Jerusalem, who is also a media coordinator with Addameer Association for Prisoners’ Rights.
