Israel imposes security blockade on WB, Gaza Strip on Jewish New Year

The Israeli-imposed blockade on the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron remained in effect on Saturday, after Israeli forces .

Israel imposed an all-out security blockade on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip on the Jewish New Year.

Palestinians living in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip will not be allowed into Israel, except for emergency humanitarian cases, Israel Radio reported on Sunday.

The blockade will be lifted on Tuesday, the broadcaster said.
