Israeli fighter jets hit two military bases in the Quneitra region of Syria,

Israeli fighter jets early on Tuesday targeted the Syrian regime's rocket launchers in retaliation for latest spillover of the military action to Israel's territory, according to I24 news.

A projectile launched from Syria landed on the Israeli side of the border in the Golan Heights region, Israeli radio has reported, in the fourth such incident of cross-border fire to take place in the space of a week.

No injuries were reported in the latest incident, which came just hours after a fragile truce entered into force across neighboring Syria, except in jihadist-held areas.
