Pirates attacked a cargo ship off the coast of Nigeria, kidnapping the captain and chief engineer and robbing the crew before escaping, a global maritime watchdog said Wednesday. The attack also left one crew member injured, the International Maritime Bureau said, and was the latest in series of incidents indicating heightened piracy in the Gulf of Guinea.
