Jewish settlers led by extremist rabbi Yehuda Glick desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards on Monday morning under tight police protection.

As the settlers were touring the Mosque’s courtyards, some of them tried to perform rituals, which provoked some Muslim worshipers there into protesting this behavior by chanting religious slogans.

Glick has become a member of the Knesset after the resignation of Moshe Ya’alon.

He claimed his entry to the Mosque today would be the last before his swearing-in at the Knesset.
