A man in his forties was killed and four others injured in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday in the southern governorate Karak.

The Civil Defence Department said in a statement that its crews rushed to the scene and took the dead and the injured to the Karak public hospital.

The wounded were listed in light to moderate conditions, said the statement, adding that an investigation was launched into the cause of the crash.
