11 people reported lost after heavy rain fell in Yunnan Province, southwest China early Tuesday morning. Disaster Relief Office in the province said that heavy rain started falling at 5 am which led to floods in the towns of Chuxiong and Yunnan. Rescue teams are currently searching for the missing, and the local government's workers rushed to the towns assist in the relief effort. On other hand, Seven people have been confirmed dead while around 21 remained missing after a mudslide hit northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region Tuesday morning. The local government said that two bodies were found while still search and rescue operations are under way for missing.
