As many as 13 people, including three girls and a young boy, died when the boat they were travelling in drowned in India''s central state of Madhya Pradesh, reported the Press Trust of India (PTI). The victims were coming from a village and were to visit a temple. According to the local police, the bodies of all the victims have been fished out. The ill-fated boat was said to be overcrowded, as nearly 19 persons were onboard against its capacity of six. Six persons, including the boat driver, managed to swim to safety. The boat capsized in the Chambal river in the state''s Mandasaur district.
