150 families held captive by terrorists in Afghanistan

As many as 150 families have been held captive by terrorists in a village in northern Afghan province of Sar-el-Pul, the governor told local media.
"Killings are ongoing in Mirza Olang and the people are held hostage. Currently more than 150 families are held captive,” Governor Mohammad Zahir Wahdat was quoted by Tolo News Network as saying.
The families said they have been subjected to severe oppression and that government must bring in to justice those responsible for the civilian killings.
No group has claimed the responsibility of civilian killings in Mirza Olang village. Taliban in a statement has rejected civilian killings.
