Two people were wounded Thursday in a light plane crash at the Chernigov city airport in north Ukraine, the Emergency Situation Ministry said Friday on its website. The accident occurred at 12 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), when a pilot lost control of the aircraft, which skipped out of a runway and crashed. It injured the pilot and a passenger onboard, but hurt nobody on the ground. The two were rushed to a hospital. The cause of the incident was under investigation.
