Two people were killed and four others were injured in separate incidents in Fayoum, Beheira and Alexandria.
A driver was killed when his truck plunged into a canal in Beheira, while a person was killed and three others injured when their car overturned on the western Cairo-Assuit highway in Fayoum.
In Alexandria, a guard was injured when eight gunmen attacked an under construction building west of the governorate.
The eight were arrested and placed in custody for four days pending investigations.
